Live AI Coastal Briefing
Good morning, it's Wednesday the 27th of May, and I'm stoked to be bringing you the daily coastal weather report. We're in for a cracking day ahead, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a sunny day, which is perfect for getting out and enjoying all that our beautiful coastline has to offer. The current temperature is a cool 15 degrees Celsius, but don't worry, it's going to warm up nicely as the day goes on.
Out in the ocean, the wave height is sitting at around 1.30 metres, which is waist to chest high, making for some solid surf conditions. The water temperature is a pleasant 20.2 degrees Celsius, so you'll probably want to slip on a spring suit or rashie to keep the chill off. With high tide coming in at 7:30 am and low tide at 4:45 pm, there's plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the water throughout the day.
If you're planning on getting active today, the conditions are looking great for a range of sports and fitness activities. Surfers will love the consistent waves, while runners and cyclists will enjoy the cool morning air and scenic coastal routes. Anglers can try their luck in the ocean, and paddleboarders will have a blast cruising around in the calm morning waters. With plenty of sunshine and gentle breezes, it's shaping up to be a fantastic day to get outdoors and make the most of our stunning coastline.
As we head into the afternoon, we can expect the famous Fremantle Doctor to kick in, bringing some relief from the heat with a gentle sea breeze. With a top temperature of 29 degrees Celsius expected, it's going to be a beautiful day to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the beach. So grab your sunscreen, your board, or your bike, and get out there and make the most of this stunning Western Australian day – I'll catch you back here tomorrow with another update.
