The Landscape

Facing the south side of La Palma, Punta Larga is framed by long sunny intervals and dark land running almost uninterrupted toward open water.

Black or charcoal shore material gives the foam a bright edge and makes changes in water colour especially visible. Access and water conditions at Punta Larga may be very different after swell, rain or rockfall, so an on-site check is essential.
