About Sant Antoni

The Vibe

Sant Antoni is Cullera’s central and most cosmopolitan beach, a long curve of fine golden sand bordered by a busy promenade and the everyday life of the town.

The atmosphere is animated from morning until evening. Families settle near the accessible bathing areas, children move between the sand and play zones and cafés remain active beyond the main bathing hours. The beach’s considerable width creates room for sport, walking and seasonal activities despite high summer occupation.

Moderate waves can occasionally change the character of the water, but the broad bay usually presents the open, welcoming appearance associated with Cullera’s main seafront.

The Setting

Sant Antoni — Cullera’s Great Urban Bay

The Local Anchor

The local anchor is Cullera itself, arranged between the Mediterranean, the mouth of the River Júcar and the isolated mountain crowned by the castle and sanctuary.

From the beach, the town feels modern and outward-looking. A short distance inland, older streets climb towards the castle, preserving a very different scale and rhythm.

Cullera’s cuisine reflects the surrounding rice country and fishing coast through paella, other rice dishes, fish and seafood served in restaurants that remain active throughout much of the year.

The Landscape

Sant Antoni extends for approximately 1.8 kilometres and averages around 75 metres wide.

It runs from the central area near Espacio II towards the beginning of Racó, with a continuous promenade, accommodation, restaurants and public transport behind the sand. The beach is fully urban and highly serviced.

Facilities include lifeguards, a central beach coordination point, accessible bathing assistance, toilets, foot-washing points, children’s zones, nautical activities, seasonal beach bars and free Wi-Fi along part of the waterfront.

Sant Antoni’s strength lies in completeness: a broad Mediterranean beach directly integrated into the social and commercial heart of Cullera.
