The Local Anchor
This coast is steeped in the traditions of the sea, a history best tasted in a bowl of Bullit de Peix. This iconic Ibizan fish stew, a rustic and potent saffron-laced marvel, is the island's soul food. Forget fine dining; the truest expression is found in a humble chiringuito at the water's edge, where the catch of the day is transformed with ancestral simplicity. Here, you dine with sand between your toes, savouring fresh scorpionfish and grouper, connecting to a culinary heritage as deep and vital as the waters before you.
The Landscape
A crescent of fine, golden sand curves gently along the bay, its texture soft and deep underfoot. The water is a sheet of tranquil turquoise, exceptionally shallow and clear, inviting a slow, contemplative wade into its embrace. The view looks out past the harbour to the open sea, a vast canvas awaiting the sun’s final brushstrokes. To one side, the small headland of Sa Punta des Molí, crowned with a historic mill, stands as a silent guardian of the bay, its silhouette a timeless marker against the spectacular, west-facing sunset.
