About Miramar
The Vibe
Miramar is a welcoming urban beach of fine golden sand, moderate waves and a long promenade used as much for evening walks as for access to the sea.
The atmosphere is family-oriented and relaxed. Apartments, restaurants and a campsite support the summer population, yet the beach remains smaller in scale than the major resorts of Gandia and Oliva. During the main season, the waterfront becomes lively without losing the character of a local holiday settlement.
The open shore can develop a noticeable Mediterranean swell, so the day’s flag should guide ordinary bathing.

The Setting
Miramar — A Family Shore on the Safor Plain
The Local Anchor
The beach neighbourhood lies around two kilometres from the historic village of Miramar.
Between them stretches the flat agricultural landscape of La Safor, a fertile plain shaped by irrigation, citrus and market gardening. Gandia lies a short distance to the north, providing the comarca’s principal cultural and commercial centre, while the smaller municipality retains its own separate beach identity.
Local restaurants connect the shore with rice dishes, fish and the produce of the surrounding plain.
The Landscape
Miramar’s beach forms a straight, developed section of the southern Valencia coastline.
Fine golden sand extends beside a continuous promenade, with accommodation, restaurants and seasonal services immediately behind it. The beach is easily reached by road and by bus from Gandia.
Lifeguards, local police, toilets, foot-washing points, accessible walkways, sports and children’s facilities, tourist information and a permanent medical service support visitors during the managed season.
Miramar’s landscape is gentle and practical: a broad horizon, a compact holiday settlement and the low green plain of La Safor stretching inland.
