The Vibe

A soft Atlantic rhythm defines Area Longa, where long stretches of sand meet the sheltered waters of the Ría de Muros e Noia. The atmosphere is calm and spacious, shaped by wind, tide, and the open presence of Monte Louro. Even in summer, the beach retains a sense of space and quiet continuity, with natural soundscapes of waves, breeze, and distant local life. The Landscape

A long crescent of pale sand stretches along the inner edge of the Louro peninsula, backed by dunes and pine vegetation. Behind the beach, the As Xarfas lagoon and dune system form a protected ecological zone, while Monte Louro rises as the dominant granite massif at the mouth of the estuary. The result is a layered coastal landscape shaped by sand, water, and stone within a sheltered Atlantic system.
