The atmosphere is comfortable, active and dependable. Regular swimmers use the pier and concrete sun terrace, families stay close to the supervised bathing area, and visitors from nearby accommodation can reach the sea without planning a full-day excursion.

The Landscape

The shore is composed mainly of rounded stones, backed by a paved sunbathing area and a pier extending into clear water. Buildings sit close enough to provide convenience but do not block the broad ocean outlook.

The east-coast light is bright, and the sea often appears especially transparent against the dark seabed. Offshore views are open, while the slopes of Caniço rise behind the bathing area.
