Playa a Corna - P. Caraminal

Corna offers space. Families gather near the main approaches, but the length of the beach allows quieter sections to remain available. The ria usually appears more sheltered than the open Atlantic, although wind and changing weather can quickly alter conditions. Walkers use the long waterline, and the beach also appeals to people who prefer a natural backdrop without complete isolation. Praia da Corna is a long sandy beach near Palmeira and A Pobra do Caraminal, on the northern side of the Ria de Arousa. It combines a broad strand with dunes, low vegetation and views across the productive estuary. The setting feels more natural than the town beaches nearby, yet villages and maritime activity remain close enough to give the shore a clear local context.

Palmeira is the nearest maritime reference, with a fishing harbour and a strong connection to the shellfish economy of Arousa.
