Playa Sant Adeodato

The beach feels less formal than central Sant Tomas even though the two are closely connected. Holidaymakers can reach it from the resort and nearby parking, but the western outlook and the continuation towards Binigaus give the shore a more spacious character. Summer use is substantial, especially around the easiest access points, while longer sections of sand allow the atmosphere to loosen away from the busiest entrances.

Sant Adeodato suits visitors who want a simple beach day without losing the option of walking farther along the coast. There are services within the wider Sant Tomas area, but the beach itself is defined more by sand, open water and the low coastal path than by shops or nightlife.

Sant Adeodato, also known as Binicodrell, continues west from the Sant Tomas resort along Menorca's southern coast. It is a broad sandy beach with easier access and more nearby services than Binigaus, yet it marks the transition from the developed waterfront towards a quieter natural shoreline.

The Escull de Binicodrell, a small rocky islet off the coast, helps distinguish this section from neighbouring Sant Tomas and Binigaus. Westward, the Cami de Cavalls continues towards the mouth of the Binigaus ravine, where a separate inland walk leads towards the large Cova des Coloms.

Es Migjorn Gran remains the municipal anchor. Its rural surroundings, prehistoric sites and dry-stone landscape provide a stronger local identity than the resort buildings alone.

Sant Adeodato extends for roughly half a kilometre and is also described locally as Binicodrell beach. Pale sand forms a long open frontage, with low rocky outcrops and the small offshore islet breaking the otherwise simple line of the bay.

The seabed shelves gradually through much of the central area, while the open southern exposure means wind and swell can change the character of the water. Behind the beach, paths, low vegetation and the edge of the Sant Tomas development gradually give way to the less built-up coast leading to Binigaus.
