About Playa Cenicero-las Lindes
Cenicero-Las Lindes feels relaxed, family-oriented and less concentrated than central Ferrara. Residents walk directly from nearby streets, summer visitors settle near the established access points and the long shore leaves room beyond the busiest sections. The atmosphere remains sociable without depending on large-scale entertainment.
The beach has dark sand mixed with gravel and occasional stones near the waterline. Mediterranean conditions are often manageable, although wind can create short waves and change the beach profile. Seasonal services and accessible facilities support a straightforward beach day, while the promenade is useful for walking and cycling outside the hottest hours.

The Setting
Playa Cenicero-Las Lindes extends west of El Morche along Torrox Costa's quieter residential shoreline. Its broad dark sand, long seafront route and close relationship with homes, small businesses and agricultural land give it a practical local character.
El Morche lies immediately east and provides the nearest village centre, with restaurants, shops and the historic coastal watchtower. Las Lindes is more residential, forming part of the developed strip between El Morche and the Velez-Malaga boundary.
Agriculture remains visible inland through greenhouse cultivation and subtropical crops. Chiringuitos serve grilled fish, sardine espetos, fried seafood and rice dishes, connecting the modern seafront with the Axarquia's fishing and farming traditions.
Dark sand follows a long, open Mediterranean frontage backed by low and medium-rise housing, palms, access roads and sections of promenade. The land remains relatively flat beside the beach before the Axarquia hills rise inland.
Eastward, the coast leads towards El Morche and Ferrara. Westward, the shoreline approaches Lagos and the municipality of Velez-Malaga. The horizon is broad, and evening light reaches across the full beach. Cenicero-Las Lindes is defined by continuity: residential coast, working agriculture and long walking space connected along one open shore. The Las Lindes promenade also links residential streets with open viewpoints along the water, making this section useful for year-round exercise. Parking and road access are easier near the developed entrances than along the quieter western edge.
