Las Vistas Beach

Las Vistas Beach lies between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, one of south Tenerife’s most important urban resort beaches and a strong family-friendly bathing area.

The Vibe

The atmosphere is lively, accessible and highly practical. Las Vistas is a large, well-used beach with a broad promenade, nearby restaurants, hotels and easy links to two of the island’s busiest resort centres.

Despite its popularity, the beach works well because of its size and structure. Families come for the organised setting and generally calm bathing conditions, while older visitors, couples and groups use the promenade as much as the sand. It is social from morning to evening, but the mood is more beach-resort than hard nightlife.

Las Vistas is one of the best Tenerife choices for visitors who want everything close: swimming, food, shops, taxis, accommodation and a seafront walk.

The Local Anchor

The local anchor is the Los Cristianos–Las Américas resort corridor. Las Vistas acts almost like a bridge between the traditional harbour town of Los Cristianos and the more entertainment-led areas to the west.

The official 2026 Blue Flag list includes Las Vistas under Arona, making it one of the island’s key recognised beach sites.

The Landscape

Las Vistas is a wide sandy bay protected by coastal works and shaped for high-use beach tourism. Its pale sand and sheltered Atlantic water contrast with Tenerife’s wilder black-sand beaches elsewhere on the island.

The beach is urban, but the horizon remains open and the volcanic island setting is never far away. Its beauty is less about solitude and more about usability: generous sand, calm-looking water, promenade life and a sunny resort atmosphere that is easy for most visitors to understand.
