Playa del Mareny de Vilxes

The mood is peaceful and family-oriented. Summer residents gather near the streets leading from the village, while walkers and swimmers find more space along the wider sections of shore. The beach is sociable without the constant movement of a major promenade, making it well suited to a simple full day beside the sea. Walkers can follow the shoreline for considerable distances in either direction.

The open exposure means waves and wind can change conditions quickly. Flags and lifeguard instructions should guide swimming, and visitors should not assume that a broad sandy entry is uniformly shallow.
