About Playa del Prat D'en Forns-regueral
Local families traditionally gather here, especially at weekends, and the broad beach supports everything from relaxed bathing to organised games and seasonal activities. The mood is lively but still strongly family-oriented, helped by a gentle entry to the sea and the amount of usable space. Morning is ideal for walkers and swimmers seeking a quieter start, while afternoons bring the fullest resort energy. Because the beach is central, visitors can move easily between the water, shade, food and the rest of Cambrils without planning transport.

The Setting
Prat d'en Fores-Regueral is Cambrils' principal social beach, set beside the central seafront and close to the port, restaurants and busiest promenade. It is the place to choose when atmosphere matters as much as sand.
The fishing port and maritime quarter provide the beach's strongest local connection. Cambrils remains proud of its seafaring history and food culture, and Regueral sits close enough for the harbour to shape the rhythm of a day. The promenade leads directly towards boats, restaurants and the streets around the port, while sports courts and children's areas keep activity on the beach itself. The paired name covers the full central beach stretch, although many people simply call it Regueral. It is not a quiet outlying cove; it is the public beachfront of a town that uses the sea for work, recreation and social life.
The beach forms a long, generous arc of fine golden sand immediately east of Cambrils' central waterfront. The seabed descends gradually, and the nearshore area often remains shallow enough to support the family character for which the town is known. Palms, play areas, sports facilities and the promenade create a landscaped urban backdrop, with the harbour forming a clear reference farther along the coast. There are no cliffs or enclosing headlands, so views remain wide across the bay and towards the neighbouring beaches. The open setting means wind and waves still require attention, regardless of the gentle profile. Regueral's scenery is polished and active rather than wild: a large sandy foreground, a busy but walkable seafront, and the maritime town immediately behind it.
