About Playa Cala En Bosch
The atmosphere is busy, social and easy to navigate. Its compact layout appeals to visitors who prefer to keep meals, boat trips and beach time within a small area. Families settle close to the gently shaped shore, visitors move between the beach and marina terraces, and evening activity continues around the artificial lake after the sand begins to empty.
The cove is connected to open water beside the marina entrance, so boat movements remain part of the setting. Bathing is most comfortable within the recognised sandy section rather than near harbour walls or the navigation route. The small beach can feel crowded in July and August, making an early start especially useful for finding an uncluttered central patch.

The Setting
Cala en Bosch is a compact white-sand cove beside the marina and resort on Menorca's south-west corner. Its rounded shape, sheltered-looking water and immediate restaurants make it one of Ciutadella's most convenient family beaches.
The marina, often called the lake because of its enclosed form, is the immediate landmark. Restaurants, excursion boats and accommodation surround the basin, creating a compact resort centre within a short walk of the beach.
Westward, the Cap d'Artrutx lighthouse stands near Menorca's south-western point. Eastward, Son Xoriguer provides a more open beach and access to the Cami de Cavalls. Ciutadella's historic old town lies farther north and offers markets, stone streets and a working harbour beyond the resort district.
Fine pale sand fills a small curved inlet edged by low limestone. Buildings and planted resort grounds frame the rear, while the water opens towards the channel between Menorca and Mallorca.
The cove lacks the high cliffs of southern beaches such as Cala en Porter, but its contained geometry is distinctive. White sand, turquoise shallows, marina masts and low rock appear together in one view. Cala en Bosch works best for visitors who want services close at hand and understand that its identity is inseparable from the busy harbour-resort environment beside it.
