About Playa Levante Almerimar
Levante is lively, organised and easy to use. Families settle near the main access points, walkers follow the promenade and marina visitors move naturally between boats, cafes and the shore. The beach is popular in summer, but its width provides room for play, sunbathing and quieter positions away from the busiest entrances.
Seasonal services and adapted access support a broad range of visitors. The atmosphere is most relaxed early in the morning, while afternoons bring greater activity around the promenade and watersports areas. In the evening, attention shifts towards the marina restaurants and the walk around the docks.

The Setting
Playa de Levante lies immediately east of Almerimar Marina in El Ejido, forming one of the resort's main urban beaches. Its wide sandy frontage, accessible facilities, promenade and close connection with the marina make it a practical choice for families and visitors who want services within easy reach.
Almerimar Marina is the defining landmark. With a large network of docks, sailing facilities, shops and restaurants, it gives the beach a strong nautical identity. Boats and masts remain visible from the sand, and sailing, diving and other marine activities are central to the local visitor economy.
The wider El Ejido coast is shaped by both tourism and agriculture. Local menus combine seafood with vegetables grown across the surrounding plain, linking the marina setting with one of Europe's most productive horticultural landscapes.
Levante occupies a broad, gently curving shore east of the harbour walls. Sand forms the main surface, backed by a promenade, palms, low-rise accommodation and the developed centre of Almerimar.
To the west, the marina creates a clear visual boundary; eastward, the coast opens towards the more natural landscapes of Punta Entinas-Sabinar. Inland, the flat agricultural plain extends towards the Sierra de Gador. The beach is unmistakably urban, yet its open scale, marina views and proximity to protected dunes and wetlands give it a stronger geographical identity than a self-contained resort cove.
