About Playa los Alamos
Los Alamos is lively, energetic and especially active from afternoon into the evening. Families use the broad sand, watersports visitors take advantage of the open frontage and younger crowds gather around the better-known beach clubs. The beach's length prevents the busiest venues from defining every section.
Official tourism information describes a shore more than one and a half kilometres long and around sixty metres wide. The open Mediterranean setting allows wind and short waves, while seasonal rescue services and accessible facilities support a conventional beach day. Rail and bus connections make arrival possible without a car.

The Setting
Playa Los Alamos occupies the eastern end of Torremolinos beside the Malaga municipal boundary. Its fine golden sand, long promenade and concentration of modern beach clubs, restaurants and water activities give it the town's most youthful and cosmopolitan beachfront.
The Los Alamos district is a modern residential and leisure area at Torremolinos's eastern edge. Its chiringuitos and clubs combine dining, music and evening social life, creating a different atmosphere from the older fishing neighbourhood of La Carihuela.
Playamar lies west, while Malaga's Campo de Golf-San Julian beach begins beyond the municipal boundary east. Restaurants range from Malaga-style seafood and sardine espetos to international menus and contemporary beach-club dining.
Fine golden sand extends beneath a broad promenade lined with palms, low and mid-rise buildings and landscaped access points. The beach remains wide, keeping the open water visually stronger than the developed backdrop.
Eastward, the shore approaches Malaga's golf and airport landscape. Westward, it continues into Playamar and central Torremolinos. Aircraft are occasionally visible because the airport lies nearby inland. Los Alamos is defined by scale and energy: long sand, transport links, watersports and nightlife combined along the municipality's eastern gateway. The promenade is also part of Torremolinos's continuous coastal route, supporting long walks towards Playamar and beyond. The eastern edge feels increasingly open as the resort meets Malaga's lower-density airport and golf coastline. Rail access also reduces reliance on summer parking.
