About Playa Fuente de la Salud
Fuente de la Salud is lively, compact and closely linked with marina activity. Families use the serviced shore, walkers pass between Benalmadena and La Carihuela, and visitors move easily from the beach to cafes, shops and boats. The limited sand can feel busy during summer.
Harbour structures influence the appearance of the water and reduce the sense of open-ocean exposure. Conditions can still change with wind, boat movement and local waves. Accessible facilities, seasonal supervision and nearby transport make the beach practical for visitors who prefer urban convenience over a secluded landscape.

The Setting
Playa Fuente de la Salud occupies the eastern end of Benalmadena Costa beside Puerto Marina and the boundary with Torremolinos. Its dark sand, sheltered urban setting and immediate access to restaurants and harbour walks make it one of the municipality's most convenient beaches.
Puerto Marina is the defining landmark. Its distinctive architecture, densely packed restaurants, leisure boats and waterside paths create one of the Costa del Sol's best-known harbour environments. The marina separates Fuente de la Salud from Malapesquera and Santa Ana on its western side.
Torremolinos begins immediately east, with La Carihuela continuing along the same seafront route. The area therefore functions as a meeting point between two municipalities. Seafood restaurants, sardine espetos and fried fish reflect the fishing traditions that predate the modern marina.
Dark sand forms a compact urban beach beside breakwaters and marina structures. Palms, apartment buildings, restaurants and paved walks sit immediately behind, leaving little sense of natural isolation.
Westward, the harbour dominates the view before the coast resumes at Malapesquera. Eastward, La Carihuela extends towards Torremolinos. Boats, masts and the marina entrance provide constant foreground movement, while the Mediterranean remains visible beyond the protective structures. Fuente de la Salud's identity is based on position: beach, harbour, municipal boundary and continuous promenade meeting within one highly accessible corner of the coast. The promenade connection also makes arrival on foot straightforward from neighbouring La Carihuela.
