About Playa Cala del Pinar
The cove feels peaceful and naturally enclosed despite the residential coast around it. Morning visits often feel especially calm. Visitors arrive for swimming, sunbathing on the coarse shore and exploring the underwater margins, while the small scale limits the number of people who can settle comfortably.
This is not a soft-sand family beach. Gravel, rock and submerged ledges require suitable footwear and cautious entry. Snorkelling should only be attempted when visibility is good and waves are low, and jumping from rocks is unsafe. Parking and seasonal services are limited compared with central Vinaros.

The Setting
Cala del Pinar is a gravel-and-rock cove on Vinaros's northern coast, named for the Mediterranean pines that shape its immediate setting. Clear-looking water and a richer rocky seabed make it one of the municipality's most appealing small coves for careful snorkelling in settled conditions.
The Mediterranean pine area is the defining local feature and the source of the cove's name. It provides a green frame above the gravel shore, although natural shade may not extend across the beach throughout the day.
Cala del Pinar sits among the northern coves near Triador and Foradada. Vinaros's tourism guides identify these small beaches as a major part of the town's coastal character, contrasting them with the urban beaches around Forti and Clot. The port and old centre remain several kilometres south.
A short band of gravel opens between low rocky sides, with pine trees and coastal vegetation rising behind it. The seabed is varied, combining stone, rock and patches of clearer ground that can be seen through the water in calm weather.
The cove lacks dramatic cliffs, but the relationship between green pines, pale stone and blue water gives it a distinctive identity. Its appeal depends heavily on conditions: peaceful and transparent on a settled morning, more exposed and difficult when wind or swell reaches the shore. Visitors who arrive prepared for a rocky cove will find one of Vinaros's most attractive small-scale landscapes.
