Arinaga is a local east-coast beach town in the municipality of Agüimes, known for its promenade, volcanic shoreline, clear water and relaxed community atmosphere.

The atmosphere is local, breezy and practical. Arinaga is not a classic tourist resort, although it has restaurants, accommodation and a good seafront. It feels more like a working Canarian coastal town with strong beach access.

The official 2026 Blue Flag list names Arinaga under Villa de Agüimes.
