The official 2026 Blue Flag list includes Puerto Lajas under Puerto del Rosario, alongside Playa Blanca and Los Pozos.

The shoreline is modest, with sand, pebbles or volcanic material depending on the exact section, and open Atlantic water in front. The coast is low and wind-aware, without the dramatic dune scenery of Corralejo or the long resort sands of Jandía.

Its strength is honesty: a local Blue Flag beach with village atmosphere, food nearby and a quieter identity. Live wind conditions are useful for deciding comfort.
