About Playa de la Casica Verde
Casica Verde feels relaxed, residential and closely linked with the marina. Local families and visitors from nearby accommodation use the small shore, while walkers pass along the seafront between Poniente and the less developed coast beyond town. Space is limited, so summer activity is concentrated around the main access.
The surface combines sand with gravel and stones, and the beach is much narrower than Poniente. Harbour structures influence the view and may reduce exposure from some directions, although local wind and waves still change conditions. Services are available nearby rather than spread across a large beachfront.

The Setting
Playa de la Casica Verde continues west from Aguilas's long Playa de Poniente beside the Juan Montiel marina area. Its narrow sand-and-gravel shore, urban access and close view of boats make it a compact waterfront beach rather than a separate natural destination.
The Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel is the defining local feature. Leisure boats, masts and harbour walls provide a nautical backdrop and connect the beach with sailing, diving and other coastal activities.
Playa de Poniente lies immediately east and offers a broader promenade and more extensive facilities. Westward, the shoreline becomes rougher towards Matalentisco and Calarreona. Aguilas town centre remains accessible along the seafront.
A narrow strip of golden-grey sand and gravel sits below marina buildings, apartments, palms and paved access routes. Masts and breakwaters shape one side of the horizon, while the open Mediterranean remains visible beyond them.
Eastward, the beach merges into the broad Poniente bay. Westward, urban development starts to thin and dry slopes become more prominent. Casica Verde is defined by compact arrangement: marina, homes, small beach and coastal road gathered tightly at the western edge of urban Aguilas. The marina-side setting also makes this a useful departure point for short seafront walks, with boats and harbour activity providing interest even outside the bathing season. Evening views across the marina are especially attractive when returning boats enter the harbour.
