Just offshore stands the lighthouse of Illot d’Alcanada, built in 1861 on a small islet that forms one of the area’s defining visual landmarks. It is visible from most points along the beach and strongly shapes the identity of the bay. Nearby, the Alcanada Golf Club and restaurants around Port d’Alcúdia contribute to the local leisure and dining culture, offering Mediterranean cuisine with views across the coastline.

The Landscape

The shoreline at Alcanada is composed of pebbles, stones, and small sandy sections, meeting clear, shallow waters typical of Alcúdia Bay. The seabed includes patches of seagrass that support local marine biodiversity. Coastal paths and informal access routes follow the edge of the bay, connecting shaded natural areas with more developed sections nearby.
