About Playa Sant Pere
The beach is popular with local families and visitors seeking a quieter alternative to Port d'Alcudia. Its limited size creates a friendly atmosphere, but it also means the sand can fill quickly during calm summer days. Morning light across the bay is particularly clear. The nearby residential streets and marina keep the setting convenient without turning it into a large resort.
Conditions vary with the wind sweeping across Pollenca Bay. The cove may look gentle and clear, yet waves can arrive when the bay becomes unsettled. Swimmers should follow flags and local advice, while anyone exploring the rocky margins should use suitable footwear and avoid slippery ledges.

The Setting
Sant Pere is a small sandy cove in Alcudia's Mal Pas and Bonaire area, on the southern side of Pollenca Bay. Soft pale sand, native coastal vegetation and low rocky sides give it a sheltered, village-scale character with wide views towards the Tramuntana mountains.
The small marina at Puerto Cocodrilo in Bonaire is close to the beach and adds sailing activity to the shoreline. Sant Pere also lies near its neighbouring cove, Sant Joan, but the two remain separate beaches with their own access points and stretches of sand.
Alcudia's old town is a short journey inland, where medieval walls stand beside the Roman city of Pollentia. In the opposite direction, the road climbs into the Victoria peninsula towards the Ermita de la Victoria and rougher coves such as S'Illot.
Sant Pere forms a neat opening between low rock and Mediterranean vegetation. The sand is fine compared with Alcanada's pebble shore, while the water changes from pale turquoise near the beach to deeper blue farther into the bay.
The cove's scale makes the larger panorama especially noticeable. Formentor and the Tramuntana range rise across the water, giving a small neighbourhood beach an unexpectedly expansive setting. Sant Pere suits visitors who value calm surroundings, clear northern views and easy links with Bonaire, Mal Pas and historic Alcudia.
