About Playa del Pont de L'nlia
Walkers following the GR 92, local residents and visitors seeking a compact natural shore make up much of its audience. The surface of fine pebbles and rock is less suited to elaborate beach setups than a wide sandy strand, but it rewards people who value clear water, coastal walking and a simple place to pause. Conditions should be read carefully because the small bay can change quickly under onshore wind.

The Setting
Pont de l'Alia is a small, stony beach on the northern edge of El Perello's coastline. It feels quieter and more exposed than Santa Llucia, with fewer reasons to visit beyond the landscape itself.
The beach helps define the geography of El Perello. The municipality's coast runs for roughly four kilometres, from the Barranc de Perales area to Pont de l'Alia, and the coastal path continues beyond it towards L'Ametlla de Mar. This position makes the cove a boundary point as well as a bathing place. Inland, El Perello's olive groves, honey production and dry-stone landscape contrast with the sharp coastal edge. The GR 92 ties those identities together, revealing a succession of small beaches, rocky ledges and scrub-covered points that are easy to miss when travelling only by road.
Pont de l'Alia is enclosed by low rock and slopes carrying pine, rosemary and other drought-tolerant vegetation. The shore mixes fine pebbles with larger stones and exposed rock, and the seabed becomes uneven near the sides. In calm weather the pale bottom can make the water look exceptionally clear, but this should not be confused with guaranteed easy swimming. Waves can rebound from the rocky margins, and there may be little dry beach after rough conditions. Footwear is useful for entering the water and for exploring the path above. The cove's strongest quality is its scale: a narrow meeting of stone, scrub and sea at the end of the Perello shoreline, connected to a much longer walking route but retaining the feel of a small, self-contained coastal stop.
