Playa Nino do Corvo

This is a quiet beach for people who prefer a smaller setting and are comfortable arriving on foot. It attracts local swimmers and families seeking calm away from the main waterfront. The limited width encourages visitors to settle close to the back of the beach, especially as the tide rises.

Nino do Corvo works well for a short swim, reading beside the water or following the coastal route between neighbouring coves. It does not have the broad promenade atmosphere of A Xunqueira or O Con. Its appeal comes from fine sand, vegetation and an open ria view.

Nino do Corvo is a narrow, sheltered beach on the western coast of Moana, close to Praia de Tiran and the boundary with Cangas. Fine sand lies below a green and lightly developed stretch of the Ria de Vigo, giving the beach a more secluded character than Moana's central urban shores.

Tiran is the nearest community anchor. The parish is closely associated with rowing and maritime life, and its coastline alternates between residential sections, small beaches and rocky points. Praia de Tiran lies nearby and provides the most natural approach to this quieter cove.

Moana's town centre and ferry port are farther east, while Cangas lies to the west. It remains outside the busiest shoreline areas of both towns.

The beach is around 140 metres long and has fine sand in a sheltered setting. Its narrow profile is contained by rock and low coastal slopes, with trees and houses partly visible above.

The outlook reaches south across the Ria de Vigo towards the city and surrounding hills. Direct Atlantic swell is reduced by the estuary, but local wind can still produce chop, and boats remain part of the wider scene.

Access is pedestrian, which helps preserve the quieter mood but requires visitors to carry what they need. Tide should be considered before settling for a long stay, because the available sand can contract noticeably at higher water. At low tide, the edges open for exploration and the beach feels longer. It is best understood as a walking-coast beach rather than a serviced destination.
