About Playa del Pla de Lns-descnrrega
This is a local, practical beach rather than a polished resort. Residents come for swimming, walking and evening time beside the sea, while families use the sections with the easiest access and seasonal supervision. The amount of dry sand can vary, so the atmosphere changes noticeably after storms or sand-management work.
The shore is open to Mediterranean wind and waves. Coarse sand and a relatively direct entry into the water call for normal caution, especially when flags indicate rougher conditions. Visitors should also leave space around drainage outlets after heavy rain.

The Setting
The Pla de l'Os-Bellamar bathing sector lies along the central shoreline of Premia de Mar. It is an urban Maresme beach shaped by the town's promenade, coastal railway and the ongoing movement of sand around nearby harbour structures and breakwaters.
Premia de Mar's old centre sits just inland, retaining the compact street pattern of a town with fishing, textile and trading traditions. The local market, parish church and museums provide alternatives to the beach and can be reached without travelling far from the seafront.
The marina and port influence the wider coast, affecting both the view and the movement of sand. They also provide restaurants and a waterfront destination for a walk beyond the bathing area.
Pla de l'Os and Bellamar form adjoining stretches on a narrow coastal strip between railway and sea. Pedestrian crossings connect the town to the beach, while breakwaters divide parts of the frontage and create different patterns of sand accumulation.
Erosion and seasonal redistribution are visible features. One section may appear broad while another is narrow, and the profile can change considerably over time. This makes the beach feel less fixed than older photographs suggest.
From the waterline, the view remains open and bright, with the Maresme coast extending in both directions. The sector's character comes from this meeting of an established town, busy transport corridor, engineered shoreline and a Mediterranean beach that continues to change with every season.
