About Playa Costa Dels Pins
The atmosphere is calm and residential. Visitors arrive for swimming, shoreline walks and a few quiet hours rather than nightlife or organised beach activity. The surrounding villas and small hotels bring summer use, yet the coast rarely feels as concentrated as Cala Millor.
The beach surface is mixed and can change along its length. Some entrances are sandy, while others meet pebbles, rock or accumulated seagrass. Wind crossing the bay may create short, choppy waves against the exposed sections, so choosing the most comfortable access point matters more here than settling at the first gap in the trees.

The Setting
Playa Costa dels Pins is the principal bathing area of the wooded residential coast north of Cala Bona in Son Servera. Sand, low rock and mature pines create a greener setting than the municipality's main resort beaches, with open views across the Bay of Arta.
Costa dels Pins takes its name from the pine-covered landscape that defines the northern Son Servera shore. Quiet roads and coastal paths link it with Port Vell and Es Ribell to the south, while the Cap des Pinar headland marks the greener outer edge of the bay.
Cala Bona's fishing harbour provides the nearest active waterfront centre. Inland, Son Servera town adds markets, traditional streets and the unfinished New Church. Together these places show the progression from working harbour to resort frontage and finally to the wooded residential coast.
Pines rise close to the water, framing sections of sand and pale rock. The shoreline is broken rather than continuous, and small changes in orientation create different views across the bay.
The scenery feels spacious despite nearby development because buildings sit among vegetation instead of forming a solid promenade. Posidonia leaves may remain naturally on the shore, and underwater rock gives the sea varied colour in calm weather. Costa dels Pins is best appreciated as a coastal district of several small access points, not as one perfectly uniform resort strand.
