Playa Dels Pins

Els Pins is popular with families and active visitors but often feels noticeably less concentrated than Pescadors. The shore is broad enough for sunbathing, games and long walks, while the nautical facilities attract people interested in sailing, paddle sports and other organised activities.

The beach remains open to wind and Mediterranean swell. Conditions may be suitable for water sports one day and less comfortable for casual swimming the next. Bathers should follow flags, keep clear of marked launching channels and watch for boards or small craft near activity zones.

Platja dels Pins is Pineda de Mar's northern beach, extending towards the boundary with Santa Susanna. It combines golden sand with a greener backdrop, a nautical base and space for water sports, giving it a slightly more open character than the central town beaches.

The nautical base is the clearest anchor, connecting the beach with Pineda's long-standing summer programme of sailing and water-based recreation. Picnic and leisure areas behind the shore make the northern end useful for a day that includes more than simply lying on the sand.

Pineda's centre is within walking distance along the promenade, while Santa Susanna begins farther north. This position gives Els Pins a transitional feel between the urban seafront and the hotel and leisure areas of the neighbouring town.

The beach is roughly half a kilometre long and forms part of the uninterrupted Maresme shoreline. Pines and planted areas influence its name and soften the view behind the sand, although the railway and developed coast remain nearby.

The sea horizon is completely open, and changes in weather are easy to see. Storms can shift the beach profile, while calmer periods leave a wide, clean-looking strand suitable for walking.

Els Pins is not a secluded pine forest beach, despite its name. Its appeal is the balance of greenery, space, water-sport activity and easy access from Pineda, all within a broad coastal landscape that continues naturally towards Santa Susanna.
